Larval coconut rhinoceros beetles, Oryctes rhinoceros. Mamala Bay golf course, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. These were dug out of the mulch pile without much trouble, indicating how many are present in the whole thing. The ones with smaller head capsules that are keeping on their backs rather than on their sides are a different large scarab, a flower beetle.
