The main "mulch pile" where coconut rhinoceros beetles were found breeding, Mamala Bay golf course, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The name is a bit misleading, as the accumulated compost is about 200 yards long and up to 4 feet deep on the right side of the picture, where the ground slopes down to a stream - quite a lot of material. There are also some smaller piles scattered around the golf course, mainly of grass clippings.
