September 24, 2009. Palikea exclosure, east of the summit ridgeline. Drosophila substenoptera, at the Pisonia just below the end of the banyan trail. This individual was particularly persistent, returning within seconds of being scared off by the camera and staying for over an hour between visits to the site.
