Teleonemia scrupulosa Kalaeloa 8993
3/6
Teleonemia scrupulosa, lantana lace bug. Pearl Harbor National Wildlife Refuge, Kalaeloa section. Introduced as a biocontrol for lantana, this bug surprisingly attacks Myoporum stellatum at Barbers Point, yet doesn't feed on M. sandwicense. It's been known to do so since at least the 1960's, but is currently undergoing an outbreak and causing noticeable damage.
