New species of picture wing, collected at the Pisonia exclosure in Mahanaloa Valley 23 June 2009. It appears to be a basal member of the planitibia group, very similar to D. hemipeza and D. substenoptera in general appearance but lacking the extra crossvein. The long head bristles are unlike any other species.
