February 24, 2010. Puu Hapapa shelf. Drosophila montgomeryi. Distinguished from D. ambochila by the two brown stripes on the thorax, the distinct dark line on the upper aneipsternum, the elongate, dark cerci, and the multiple rows of long hairs on the front tibia.
