Scotorythra paludicola larva Humuula 9356
6/19
Caterpillar of Scotorythra paludicola, koa moth. Humuula Trail. By this time (March 6, 2013), defoliation was occurring at the lower elevation area, around 890m. Large numbers of caterpillars were dropping from the trees and crawling over other plants, sometimes trying to feed on them, like this one on strawberry guava.
